The extent of the damage is still unknown in regards to the ruptured water line that has left Gordon Wilson, Van Meter, and Cherry Hall without water.

“It definitely won’t be completed today,” one WKU utility worker said. “With old pipe like this, and without really uncovering what has happened yet, it is really hard to know how bad the break is.”

One main line brings water to each of the three buildings, and crews recognize it has ruptured but are not far enough along in the repair process to understand the severity of the issue.
