Dr. Brent Björkman was named Director of the Kentucky Museum at Western Kentucky University on January 1, 2015 after holding the title of interim director since August 2014. Björkman’s vision in the coming year is to lead the Kentucky Museum forward in its path toward accreditation with the American Alliance of Museums. Björkman is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Folk Studies department and Director of the Kentucky Folklife Program.
