Jordan Green leaves WKU basketball program

The WKU men’s basketball program announced Friday that freshman Jordan Green has withdrawn from the university.

WKU athletics released a statement saying:

“Jordan Green has withdrawn from school to pursue other opportunities. He is no longer part of the Hilltopper Basketball team. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Green, a 6-foot-5-inch forward, averaged 20.2 points and 7.6 rebounds as a senior during the 2013-14 season at Henry Clay High School in Lexington. Green finished his prep career second in program scoring history with 1,719 points. Green was rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com.
