At 9:54 a.m., Joe Imel of Bowling Green Daily News tweeted: “Coroner has been called to the scene of a death investigation at the Registry on Old Morgantown Rd. BGPD, BGFD and EMS on scene.”

Bowling Green Deputy Coroner John White said the Registry at Bowling Green confirmed the deceased was a female WKU student.

“By all signs she was a western student,” White said.
