Arrests

•Police arrested Elkton sophomore Sheldon Dossett, Zacharias Hall, for failure to illuminate headlamps and driving under the influence under 21 years of age at the 1800 block of Normal Drive on Sept. 11. 

•Police arrested Louisville freshman Dante Beausejour in Keen Hall Room 702 on a warrant for Jefferson County District Court for fourth-degree assault and first- degree robbery on Sept. 9.

•Police arrested Nashville freshman Cloyd Smith III, McCormack Hall, for disregarding a red light at 1700 Block Creason St., DUI under 21 years of age, and failure to produce insurance on Sept. 7.

Police arrested Lexington freshman William Childers, Hugh Poland Hall, for alcohol intoxication of the first-degree after he was observed lying in the second floor hallway of Bemis Lawrence passed out in the fetal position wearing only his underwear on Sept. 7.

Reports

Bowling Green freshman Nicholas Long reported the theft of his American flag from his vehicle on level two of Parking Structure 2 on Sept. 10. The estimated value of the item stolen was $25. 

•Benton sophomore Tayla Redmond, Pearce-Ford Tower, reported four unknown females assaulted her while walking on Normal Drive on Sept. 9. 

•Nashville freshman Devin Haynes, Barnes-Campbell Hall, was observed driving on the corner of Normal Drive and Regents Avenue without headlights activated on Sept. 6. Upon contact, Haynes was also found to be in possession of marijuana.

•Bowling Green Police Department detectives Dillon and Davis interviewed a student in PFT Room 409 regarding a BGPD case on Sept. 6.

•Ingham, Mich., sophomore Christopher Harrison-Docks reported his iPad stolen from his room in Northeast Hall on Sept. 5. The estimated value of the item stolen was $535. 

•Sturgis freshman August G. Heidrich, McCormack, reported the theft of his cell phone and cash from Preston Center on Sept. 4. The estimated value of the items stolen was $110.

 •Damage to a piano in Gordon Wilson Hall room 312 was reported on Sept. 4. The estimated value of the damage was $375.99.
