According to an email sent to WKU faculty and staff today, some residence halls and campus buildings will be without heat due to an emergency steam line repair in front of Downing University Center.

Residence halls affected include Bates-Runner Hall, Minton Hall, Bemis Lawrence Hall, Douglas Keen Hall, Hugh Poland Hall, Zacharias Hall, Meredith Hall and Pearce Ford Tower.

Buildings affected include the Academic Complex, Ransdell Hall, the Preston Center, Smith Stadium, Health Services, Tate Page Hall and DUC.

Facilities Management doesn’t know how long the repairs will take, but a meeting was held today at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the repairs.

Attempts to contact officials at Facilities Management were unsuccessful.
