Craig Cobane, executive director of the Honors College, will also be WKU’s chief international officer effective Jan. 1, 2012, pending approval from the Board of Regents.

According to an email from Gordon Emslie, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, Cobane has “considerable experience with student and faculty participation in international activities.”

Cobane will supervise the Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning.

Additionally, International Student and Scholar Services will now report to Vice Provost Richard Miller.
