Missouri soccer has signed Milena Fischer from Germany’s Under 19 National Team, coach Bryan Blitz announced Thursday.

Fischer is the Tigers’ first international signee of the 2021 class and the seventh player to sign in the class.

Playing as a midfielder, she made 26 appearances for German 2. women’s-Bundesliga club, FC Saarbrücken, in three seasons.

She played for the U16, U17, U18 and U19 German National Teams. She won gold at the U17 European Championships in 2019.
