SGA elections postponed a week

Herald Staff

Student Government Association elections have been postponed until April 5-6 due to a conflict with TopNet voting, President Colton Jessie told the Herald on Friday.

The elections were previously set for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

This was a recent development. SGA held its debate on Wednesday in preparation for the elections to happen as scheduled.

Presidential candidates in the elections include Billy Stephens and Diego Leal Ambriz. Katie Stillwell is facing Kendrick Bryan in the executive vice president race, and Devon Hilderbrandt is running unopposed for administrative vice president.

Senate seats are also up for election. There are 36 seats on the SGA senate.
