Chaney’s Dairy Barn and Restaurant will celebrate its seventh birthday this weekend with a carnival of family-oriented fun and, of course, Chaney’s ice cream.

Chaney’s is located at 9191 Nashville Road.

The celebration will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

“We want families to come up here and have a good time on a small budget,” said Owner Debra Chaney. “I know a lot of people don’t have money for vacations; since this is around fall break, it’s a great time to do it.”

Admission to the bash is free, she said.

Activities during the event will include hayrides, a corn maze, a duck pond, face painting and more, all for $1 apiece, Chaney said.

The Warren County 4-H will be offering pony rides at the celebration for $2 a person as a fundraiser for their club, she said.

WNKY’s Radar the Weather Dog will also be at the event on Saturday at 1 p.m. to celebrate his sixth birthday by sharing cake with guests, Chaney said.

Other special guests will include Broadway the Clown, who will be at the event on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Fire Safety Awareness Inflatable House will be at the celebration all weekend, she said.
