WKU Volleyball’s Briggs named to 2022 Women’s Collegiate National Team

WKU senior volleyball star Paige Briggs was announced as an addition to the Women’s Collegiate National Team on Monday. 

Briggs joins 38 of the top collegiate volleyball players in the nation with a staff of three Olympic medal winners, seven in all. 

Briggs finished 2021 with 290 kills and 267 digs to go along with a .268 hitting percentage. She put up six double-doubles while recording a 94.9 reception rate. She also added 34 blocks and 32 aces on the season. 

Briggs will train with the team from June 19-25 at the National Team Center in Anaheim, California. While at the facility, the collegiate athletes will meet the 2020 Tokyo Olympians, learn the National Team’s system and work under the watch of the Women’s National Team’s staff.
