The WKU Department of Sociology & Criminology is hosting a collection drive for the Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. from March 3-31.

The Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. began as a community effort to make a variety of support services accessible to victims of domestic violence. These include things like emergency shelter and crisis aid as well as educational programs for victims and their families.

The biggest donation needs of BRASS, Inc. are used and unused cell phones, personal care items such as soap, deodorant and cosmetics, household items such as cookware, dishes and silverware and paper products such as paper towels, toilet paper and tissues. Diapers and pull-ups are also needed, sizes 4-6 preferred.

A box for donations will be located on the first floor of Grise Hall in the workroom. Monetary donations can also be sent in via PayPal
