WKU Track and Field competed in the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational at the University of Louisville Jan. 27-28.

Highlights of the weekend includes senior All-American high jumper Katie Isenbarger clearing 1.80 meters to win first place. She finished ahead of athletes who attends Louisville, Michigan State and Notre Dame.

The Tops also saw junior Grace Turner finish 14th with a jump of 1.65 meters. Freshman Julian Klenner finished top 10 in the men’s 400m, clocking a time of 48.74. Klenner also placed 13th in the men’s 200 meter with a time of 21.77.

Sophomore Kaison Barton added to the success for the tops by placing 19th in the short put with a throw of 15.74 meters followed by senior John Elam with a 27th place finish with 14.76 meters.

WKU will compete next week Friday, Feb. 3 at the Bellarmine Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
