With the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team returning four starters and two other key seniors for the 2020-21 campaign, the expectations of fans were understandably high back in November when the Badgers opened the season with a top-10 ranking and national championship aspirations. 

But while Greg Gard’s team climbed as high as No. 4 early in the season, things got rough for the Badgers, who went 0-10 against ranked opponents after the calendar flipped to 2021.
