WKU Men’s basketball will look to get their first win of the season Tuesday, as they host the Campbellsville Tigers at Diddle Arena.
The Hilltoppers are coming off two tough losses to Wichita State and Grand Canyon. The Tigers, 4-1 on the season, lost an 85-81 shootout against Montreal College on Saturday.
Senior forward Babacar Faye scored 28 against Wichita State and senior guard Don McHenry scored 23 points with four assists, two steals, and two blocks against Grand Canyon. The pair are the leading scorers for the Hilltoppers so far with McHenry averaging 22 points per game and Faye averaging 18.5.
Sophomore Guard Dalton Kramer has been relatively productive for the Tigers, averaging 17 points per game with three steals and four rebounds. The team as a whole has been productive against Division II opponents, averaging 88 points while only allowing 66.
While the Hilltoppers have only averaged 78 points, they’ve been averaging 40 rebounds a game with Faye averaging eight and Tyrone Marshall Jr. trailing with seven.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
