The 9-5 (0-2) WKU Lady Toppers will head to Jacksonville, Alabama, Thursday, Jan. 9 to take on the 7-5 (1-0) Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
The Lady Toppers come into the game following a heartbreaking one-point loss to Florida International. WKU is off to a slow start in conference play losing both to Liberty and FIU.
The Lady Toppers have struggled from the floor in CUSA, shooting just 39% from the field as well as 31% from three-point range. Senior forward Destiny Salary leads the charge for the Lady Toppers averaging 20 points in both conference games.
Jacksonville State looks to improve to 2-0 in conference play after defeating Kennesaw State 68-56. It is a balanced attack for the Gamecocks as not one player averages double figures. The Gamecocks are on a three-game winning streak after losing four in a row.
The game is set for 6:30 P.M. on ESPN+.
