The WKU Campus Community Band performed a concert at Van Meter Hall, Monday night with the WKU Wind Ensemble.
The Campus Community Band is a group of over 60 musicians that includes active students, alumni, and members of the local community. The band performed with the WKU Wind Ensemble, which had special guest Graduate Conductor Noah Woody.
The performance included songs such as “Red Rocks Fanfare,” “Joy in All Things” and “Sheltering Sky.”
After the concert, the performer’s families and friends greeted them with roses, like Lily Faulkenberg, a graduate student majoring in Organizational Leadership.
Faulkenberg attended in support of her two friends who were performing in the concert.
“In high school, I played percussion, so I really enjoy watching the percussionists,” Faulkenberg said.
