M.A.S.T.E.R Plan move-in

Junior Ivy Sauder of Louisville joins members of Potter College in helping freshmen and their families unload their vehicles. “It’s fun to see a whole new generation of students coming in and get them excited and pumped up” Sauder said.

Students participating in M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan, WKU’s freshmen orientation program, checked into their respective residence halls, rearranged rooms and said goodbye to their families today.

Many experienced a mix of emotions as they began their college career. Freshman Bridges Cunningham of Hopkinsville said she was enthusiastic about moving into her dorm in Bemis Lawrence hall.

“Right now I’m just excited, I haven’t been sad yet. It hasn’t hit home” Cunningham said.

Freshman Hannah Gadberry of Campbellsville said moving into college was “overwhelming” but she was “excited and ready.”
