First-year baseball coach John Pawlowski had his DUI charge dismissed on Wednesday morning.

The 52 year-old originally received the charge after Kentucky State Police pulled him over on Jan. 29.

During the stop, Pawlowski registered a blood-alcohol content of .021, which was below the legal limit of 0.08 in the state of Kentucky.

Pawlowski’s attorney, Brian Lowder, told the Bowling Green Daily News that his client is “relieved to have the unfortunate distraction behind him.”

The Hilltopper baseball team will start its season at home on Feb. 19 against Youngstown State.
