UPDATE: Emergency repairs cause temporary water outages

Emergency repairs on WKU’s campus left the following buildings without water for the majority of Tuesday, May 19:

-Craig Administrative

-Wetherby

WKUapartments.com

-Gatton Academy

-Bates Runner

-McLean

-Foundation  

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities were working to repair a sewage line break, and also installing new water meters. Workers continued to work on Wednesday to install the new meters, but the line break has been successfully repaired and water access has been restored to the previously affected buildings. 

“We are just putting in new meters,” one BGMU worker said.  “Hopefully we will be done today, I would say no later than 4:30 and we should be wrapped up.”
