Price, Fant named to Preseason All-Conference USA Team

Conference USA announced Tuesday that WKU senior forward George Fant and senior guard T.J. Price have been named to the 10-player Preseason All-Conference USA Team by the league’s head coaches.

Price and Fant were the top two scorers for the Hilltoppers a season ago, averaging 15.5 and 13.3 points per game, respectively. Fant added a team-high 6.6 rebounds in all 31 games while scoring a 53 percent clip, which was good for fifth-best in the Sun Belt Conference. Fant was named an all-conference third-team member.

Price managed to score double-figures in 25 of 30 games played last season, and his 15.5 points per game ranked 10^th in the Sun Belt Conference. He added 4.4 rebounds per contest. Price garnered second-team all-conference honors.

In addition to the 10-man team, Conference USA announced that LA Tech, UTEP, Charlotte and Old Dominion will comprise the top four of the preseason coaches poll.
