Robbery on Old Morgantown Road prompts text alert

A robbery at 400 Old Morgantown Road occurred Sunday night, according to a WKU text alert.

Three black males of slender build armed with a stun gun, their faces covered with black masks with one suspect wearing a red shirt, another wearing a brown shirt and one wearing a black shirt, are believed to be responsible, according to an alert sent at around 8:01 p.m. and an additional alert sent at 8:28 p.m.

This is the second reported robbery near campus in less than a week. Another robbery occurred Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 1228 Center Street. Two black males, one wearing a bandana and another wearing a camo mask and armed with a handgun, were seen fleeing towards Adams Street that night.
