WKu will look to pick up fans from around the state this month as one of the most anticipated football seasons in recent memory approaches.

Several WKU coaches and athletics officials are taking part in ‘Toppers on Tour,’ a state-wide campaign to visit sites and cities across Kentucky, over the course of June.

The tour is making its first stop Monday night in Louisville before making its next stop in Owensboro Tuesday night. The group will then head to Nashville Thursday before finishing up in Elizabethtown on June 17 and Glasgow on June 18.

Many important WKU athletics figures will make appearances on the tour.

The lineup for each site consists of Athletics Director Todd Stewart, football coach Bobby Petrino, men’s basketball coach Ray Harper, and women’s basketball coach Michelle Clark-Heard. Offensive coordinator Jeff Brohm will appear in Petrino’s place at the Owensboro stop, while volleyball coach Travis Hudson will join the crew in Louisville.

Attendance to these events is free to the public.
