The student who — according to a WKU press release — jumped from the sixth floor of Pearce Ford Tower last Saturday died earlier today at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, according to the medical examiner’s office in Tennessee.

His name was Benjamin Gogins and he was a 19-year-old freshman from Cook County, Ill. No other details are available at this time.
