Junior outfielder Kelsie Mattox was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Mattox hit .600 and had a home run in all three games against Troy over the weekend, also posting a 1.400 slugging percentage and five RBIs.

Mattox’s two-run home run on Saturday was the only run-producing at-bat in a 2-0 Lady Topper win.

Mattox is the second WKU player to receive the honor this season, with the first being sophomore infielder Amanda Thomas.
