Howard Bailey, vice president for Student Affairs, will be the next speaker in the “Last Lecture” series on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Mass Media and Technology Hall Auditorium.

This seven-part series, organized by the Student Alumni Association and the Rhodes-Helm Lecture Series, features retiring or retired WKU faculty and staff members, according to an email sent by Tori Henninger, SAA advisor and assistant director for Alumni Relations.

Bailey said he technically retired seven years ago, but immediately returned to work at WKU after retirement. Bailey has worked at WKU for more than 40 years and said he has no current plans to end his working career.

Instead, during his speech, Bailey will share his thoughts about his experience at WKU and advise the current student body about achievement at WKU and beyond, according to a WKU email about the lecture.
