Enrollment at WKU continues to climb, reaching more than 21,000 students and setting a new record for the 14th year in a row.

According to a WKU news release, fall 2011 enrollment is 21,048 students, an increase of 145 students from last year.

Brian Meredith, associate vice president for Enrollment Management, credited this growth to efforts made by Student Affairs. He also said there are triple the number of students participating in the Navitas program this year.

Meredith said enrollment is in good shape and “very promising” for the future.

President Gary Ransdell said in the news release that the ability to continue to grow these numbers each year is “a testament to the value our students and their families put on a WKU education.”
