Zollo, other men’s basketball recruits nearing decision time

Vinny Zollo, a 6-8 forward from George Rogers Clark High School, is throwing is name in the ring among WKU recruits who are nearing a decision.

Zollo told the Herald on Friday that he will probably choose a school this coming weekend but did not elude to where he might commit.

George Fant, of Warren Central High School, Tweeted on Thursday that he’ll make a decision this Monday. Cezar Guerrero, a St. John Bosco High School (Calif.) point guard, also told the Bowling Green Daily News this week that he’s made a decsion but is simply not ready to say where he’s going.

WKU’s only commitment so far for the 2011 class belongs to Derrick Gordon, who committed during his sophomore year of high school.
