Mars observations this week

On Wednesday, Mars will be closer to Earth than it has been in nearly 60,000 years.

The Hilltopper Astronomy Club is inviting anyone who is interested to join them atop Thompson Complex’s Central Wing tonight through Thursday to view this historic event through 10 different telescope lenses.

Admission is free and those interested should meet at 9:30 p.m. in the lobby of TCCW.
