The gap between the Greek organizations will be bridged tonight with Alpha Phi Alpha’s “Unity Step Off.”

The step off will feature sororities and fraternities stepping and performing dance routines in DUC Theater at 7 p.m.

“It’s to do something about unity,” said Samson Anderson, a graduate and Alpha Phi Alpha alumnus who helped create and organize the event.

“Whites and blacks can come together for the same cause and have fun at the same time,” Anderson said.

The doors open at 6 p.m., and donations can be made at the door.

A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to a scholarship developed by Alpha Phi Alpha for an incoming freshman.
