WKU Basketball’s 2021-22 non-conference schedule continues to take form. The Hilltoppers will face the Ole Miss Rebels at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Dec. 11 as part of the second annual Holiday Hoopsgiving.

The three other matchups making up the event are Auburn vs. Nebraska, LSU vs. Georgia Tech and Clemson vs. Drake. Times, tickets and television information will be announced later on.

The Hilltoppers have faced the Rebels twice before and the two programs have split the series 1-1. WKU rides a three-game winning streak against SEC opponents that includes a pair of wins over Arkansas and an upset of Alabama last year, a squad that finished the season as one of the top 10 ranked teams in the nation.

The Rebels are a familiar foe for WKU head coach Rick Stansbury. Stansbury put together a 21-8 record against Ole Miss during his 14-year stint as the head coach of SEC rival Mississippi State. The Hilltoppers will have their work cut out for them as they will face South Carolina a few days later on Dec. 15 before returning to Bowling Green to host Louisville on Dec. 18.

WKU’s Conference USA schedule is expected to be released within the next few days and the Hilltopper’s non-conference schedule will be announced later this month once it has been finalized.
