WKU vs Indiana: What students need to know for gameday

WKU is facing off against the Big Ten’s Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday night in front of a packed home crowd on parent’s weekend. Here’s everything students need to know for gameday:


Students will be able to attend the event for free by presenting a valid WKU student ID. Fans are encouraged to wear all-black to match WKU’s uniforms. Additionally, guests who purchase a WKU Football ticket for Saturday’s game can present their ticket at Diddle Arena to gain free entry to WKU’s volleyball match against Marshall on Saturday at noon.


Tailgating areas will be open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday and student tailgating areas will be open on lower South Lawn from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT. Topper Town will be opening at 4:30 p.m. on South Lawn and the Topper Walk begins at 5 p.m. at PS1.


Support parking lots are reserved starting on Friday, September 24 at 4:30 p.m. CT and must be cleared out by 6 p.m. CT. Event lots are reserved starting at 6 a.m. CT on Saturday and must be cleared out by 7 a.m. CT.

Creason Lot, Parking Structure 3, Russellville Road West Lot, Adams Street Lot, Kentucky Street Lot and the Alumni Square Garage, University Blvd. and Chestnut Street South will all be open for free event parking and Topper Transit shuttle service.

Topper Transit will shuttle fans and guests to the stadium beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT. Service will pause after kick-off and will resume at halftime until approximately 11 p.m. CT.
