Last season’s Conference USA All-Freshman guard Julius Thedford, who entered the transfer portal on March 31, committed to Memphis on Monday according to Hitmen Hoops on X.
Thedford played his high school ball at Whitehaven High School in Memphis before committing to WKU and averaging 12 points a game in his freshman campaign.
Before going down with a knee injury against Middle Tennesee State on Jan. 18, Thedford played 17 games. He led the Hilltoppers in scoring at Kentucky with 18 and had nine outings over 15 points through the season.
In addition to his CUSA All-Freshman honors, Thedford earned two Freshman of the Week selections.
