Chatfield commits to Washington State

Former WKU sophomore guard Mackenzie Chatfield announced her commitment to Washington State on social media Thursday.

Chatfield entered the transfer portal on March 25 after two seasons with the Lady Toppers. She made strides in her sophomore campaign, being a spark off the bench, averaging 19.9 minutes per game.

She averaged a career high of 5.8 points per game in her sophomore campaign, along with 2.4 assists per game. Chatfield had a career night this season against Sam Houston, where she had her first-ever career double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.
