WKU Soccer will look to build on its two-game win streak on Thursday when it hosts Dayton at the WKU Soccer Complex.
The Hilltoppers are coming off a 1-0 win over Jackson State last Thursday. Sophomore defender Abby Wiedermann was named Conference USA defensive player of the week. She scored the lone goal against JSU in the third minute, playing all 90 minutes and helping WKU to their second clean slate of the season.Â
Dayton comes to Bowling Green 1-1-1. The Flyers opened the season with a 2-0 win over Wright State before drawing 0-0 against No. 12 Michigan State. Most recently, Dayton fell 2-0 to Pitt State on Sunday.
Thursday will be the second meeting between the two programs. Dayton won the first matchup 3-0 in 2024.Â
WKU and Dayton will kick off Thursday, Aug 28, at 7 p.m. Fans can watch on ESPN+.
