WKU Soccer returns home to face Austin Peay

WKU Soccer will look to move past its two-game losing streak as it returns to the WKU Soccer Complex to face Austin Peay on Thursday. 

The Hilltoppers returned from a road trip to Alabama last week, losing 1-0 to UAB on Thursday and 2-0 to Samford on Sunday. 

Junior midfielder Georgia Liapis leads the team in goals after her hat trick against Rio Grande (Ohio) and scoring a goal against Union. Sophomore midfielder Torrie Grant-Clavijo leads the team in assists after recording two against Rio Grande and one against Union.

Austin Peay enters the matchup 0-5-2 and has not scored a goal so far this season. The Governors are coming off three home games, losing 1-0 to Chattanooga and Evansville, and tying Murray State 0-0.

Kick off at the WKU Soccer Complex is set for 7 p.m.
