Freshman forward Makenna Egan bagged her third goal of the season in the game. The teams ended with the same amount of shots (10), shots on goal (5), saves (4), corner kicks (4) and offsides (1).
Junior midfielder Georgia Liapis leads the team with five goals, her last one coming aganist Kennesaw State in their 2-1 win.
LA Tech come into the matchup 2-9-1 and 1-1 in CUSA. The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-0 loss to Sam Houston after the Bearkats were awarded a penalty in the 85th minute.
In their first CUSA game, LA Tech beat UTEP 2-0, breaking a seven game losing streak.
The Hilltoppers are 3-4-1 aganist the Bulldogs, and have managed just one point in four trips to Ruston. Coming in their most recent meeting, a 0-0 draw.
