WKU Volleyball goes back on the road this weekend to take on Louisiana Tech.
The Hilltoppers come off two wins against Missouri State, which extended their regular-season conference win streak to 96 straight.
WKU was led by sophomore outside hitters Alivia Skidmore and Faith Young. The duo finished with half of the Hilltoppers’ kills on the weekend.
Freshman outside hitter Sonia Laaksonen had a huge weekend, finishing with 18 kills on the weekend.
“Sonia Laaksonen played outstanding, which gives us a huge boost and hit .444 this weekend and had one hitting error this whole weekend,” Head Coach Travis Hudson said.
WKU has not lost a game to Louisiana Tech since 1999, dropping only two sets. The Bulldogs are in search of their first conference win of the season, most recently dropping their weekend series against Delaware.
First serve is set for 6:30 pm Oct. 10 on ESPN+.
