McIvor out against LA Tech

WKU starting quarterback Maverick McIvor is not taking snaps under center against LA Tech due to an injury to his left shoulder, which affects his ability to throw the football, according to Ryan Murphy on X.

Redshirt freshman Rodney Tisdale Jr. took his place, starting against the Bulldogs.

Tisdale redshirted his freshman year, seeing his first action against North Alabama in the closing moments of the game. In last week’s loss to FIU, Tisdale came in for McIvor once the game was out of reach, throwing seven completions on eight attempts for 66 yards.
