WKU Men’s basketball opens up the 2025-26 regular season at Diddle Arena Monday night to take on the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
The Hilltoppers are coming off two victories in exhibition games, defeating Kentucky Wesleyan and UAB.
Redshirt Sophomore Teagan Moore led WKU in both exhibition games. Against Kentucky Wesleyan, Moore led with 11 points before his career night, 26 points and six rebounds against UAB.
Tennessee Tech comes off two exhibition games, where they defeated South Carolina Central Christian and lost to Belmont. Sophomore Kennesaw State transfer Mekhi Turner led the way in points with 17 and 11, respectively.
The Golden Eagles and Hilltoppers have met over 100 times, according to a press release from WKU Athletics, most recently in the 2020-21 season. WKU came out victorious 88-68 in that meeting.
WKU looks to win its opening game for the fifth time in six years. Tip-off is set for 6:30 CT on ESPN+.
