WKU Women’s Basketball will brave the cold and the competition Sunday at North Dakota, continuing its five-game road trip.
The Lady Toppers fell to Miami (OH) 80-53 last Sunday in their first of three road games. The Hilltoppers dropped to 3-6 on the season with the loss.
Sophomore guard Trinity Rowe returned against the RedHawks after suffering a hand injury over a month ago. She dished out a team-high four assists in the contest. Senior forward Jeniffer Silva led the Lady Toppers in scoring against Miami with 13.
WKU boasts a balanced rotation, with six Lady Toppers averaging over 20 minutes per game.
The Fighting Hawks sit at 1-9 overall after a four-game losing streak. Their most recent loss came at the hands of Montana State, 99-57. Graduate guard Mackenzie Hughes leads the offense with 12 points and 2.5 assists per game.
WKU leads the all-time series against North Dakota 2-1. The Lady Toppers defeated the Fighting Hawks 74-69 last season at Diddle Arena.
