Six players in double figures powered WKU Men’s Basketball over the Campbellsville Tigers 102-59.
The Hilltoppers bested the Tigers on all fronts, shooting 50% from the field and 42% from three.
Everyone got involved for WKU, with six players in double-figures. Junior forward Louie Semona and senior forward Noah Boyde had season-high nights, with 16 and 13 points, respectively.
WKU found its three-point shooting once again from beyond the arc. Semona and senior guard Ryan Myers led the Hilltoppers, combining for eight of the team’s 14.
The Hilltoppers’ offense was firing from all cylinders in the first half, riding multiple scoring runs, including a 13-0 run. The Hilltoppers extended their halftime lead to 54-28, with a 19-2 run to end the half.
The Hilltoppers led by as much as 50 points in the contest.
The Hilltoppers held Campbellsville scoreless for seven minutes, down to the five-minute mark in the second half. In that time, WKU turned over Campbellsville five times, resulting in a 20-0 run.
The Hilltoppers will return to Diddle Arena to conclude non-conference play on Friday, December 19, against the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT.
