WKU men’s basketball returns to Diddle Arena Wednesday Night against the Missouri State Bears to begin a three-game home stretch.
The Hilltoppers come off a two-game road stretch, most recently picking up a win against UTEP to move to 10-6 (3-2 CUSA). The Hilltoppers sit in fifth place overall in the conference.
The Hilltoppers are led by the guard duo of redshirt sophomore Teagan Moore and freshman Armelo Boone. Moore averages 17.6 points per game and 2.6 assists, and Boone contributes with a team-high 6.6 rebounds and 12.1 points per game.
Missouri State sits in second place in CUSA in their first season in the conference with a 10-6 (4-1 CUSA) record.
Senior forward Keith Palek III leads the Bears in nearly every major category. Palek averages 17.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
Junior guard Kobi Williams averages 14.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game as the second leading scorer.
“They have gotten better and better; their top two scorers are division two transfers and have proven to themselves they are ready to play,” Head Coach Hank Plona said.
Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m., and the game can be streamed on ESPN+.
