One was not enough. WKU Women’s Golf is back-to-back Conference USA champions, and the home of the CUSA individual champion.
Before the 2025 season, the Lady Toppers had never touched gold as a team, until the CUSA tournament. Exactly a year later, WKU has done it again.
The Hilltoppers took the top spot shooting 13 over par, with freshman Reagan Ramage bringing home the individual title, shooting three under par for the tournament. Ramage took home the individual title after an outstanding final day, shooting seven under par.
Ramage becomes the third Lady Topper to take home the individual title and the first freshman since 2013 to do so.
The Lady Toppers took over on the first day of the tournament, shooting even. Sam Houston and Florida International rounded out the top three, shooting four under par and seven under par respectively.
Senior Sydney Hackett led WKU in day one, shooting two under par. Hackett had the support of freshman Leah Edwards and senior Averi Cline as they shot one under par and an even par respectively.
It was a rough day on the golf course for all teams on day two, as each team shot nine over par or more. Due to inclement weather, the Lady Toppers could not get a lot of momentum finishing the day shooting 11 over par.
Despite the poor performance, WKU’s day one score was enough to hold their spot in first at the end of day two.
Edwards continued her great performance, finishing on par to lead the team. Ramage helped out shooting one over par.
WKU continued their stellar performance on the final day, shooting two over par. Ramage had help after shooting seven under par, as Hackett was second on the day for the Lady Toppers at two over par.
The selection show will take place Wednesday, April 29 as the Lady Toppers and Ramage await their regional destination.
