WKU Softball takes on Liberty in the second round of the Conference USA tournament.
The Hilltoppers earned the double bye and second-seed in the CUSA tournament after finishing the regular season 37-12 and 19-8 in the conference.
WKU concluded its regular season in a series loss to Delaware, dropping two of the three games.
It is a complete team effort for the Hilltoppers, with eight players hitting .300 or better. Redshirt senior Jenna Blanton leads the way hitting .426, with a team-high four triples. Junior Maci Masters leads WKU with 15 home runs on the season.
Liberty comes off a first round win against Louisiana Tech 9-0 to advance. Sophomore Alexia Carrasquillo leads the Flames in every major category, hitting .339 with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs.
The Hilltoppers and Flames met earlier this season where Liberty took the series, winning two of the three games.
The first pitch is set for 1:30 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN+.
