A storm this morning brought heavy rain to WKU’s campus, causing minor flooding in the Creason parking lot.
A flood watch is in place until Tuesday evening for parts of Indiana and Kentucky as more rain rolls through this afternoon. There is expected to be around 1 to 2.5 inches of rainfall total, according to the National Weather Service.
The rain has caused some standing water in the Creason parking lot, a relatively low-lying area of campus.
It is expected to be a rainy week, with Saturday currently the only day with no chance of thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service recommends watching future forecasts in the event of a flash flood emergency.
