Actor Josh Lucas represents WKU on The Firm
February 29, 2012
Hollywood hunk, Josh Lucas, can be seen sporting WKU apparel in his newest television series on NBC, The Firm.
The show is based on the 1991 novel by best selling author, Josh Grisham, in which the main character Mitch McDeere, played by Lucas, became a whistleblower for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and brought down a law firm with mob ties.Â
The novel reveals the character’s background, including that he injured his knee in his final high school football game and the only school that offered him a scholarship was WKU. He played quarterback in Bowling Green, made perfect grades and earned a degree in accounting.
True to the book’s character, Lucas was spotted wearing a WKU Hilltoppers t-shirt on the show.
The Firm began this January on NBC and airs on Saturdays at 8 p.m. CST.
