After a 76-67 victory over Florida International University Thursday, WKU Men’s Basketball will look to defend their home court against Liberty Saturday in the last game of the regular season.
The Hilltoppers are 8-9 in conference play, putting them seventh in Conference USA. If Louisiana Tech loses to UTEP, the Hilltoppers could jump to sixth place with a win over the Flames.
Senior guard Don McHenry led WKU against FIU, scoring 20 points. He remains the Hilltoppers leading scorer, averaging 17 points per game
The Flames come to Bowling Green first in the conference at 12-5, coming off of an 86-81 road win over MTSU. Senior guard Taelon Peter put up 33 points against the Blue Raiders. He leads the team in scoring, averaging 13 points per game.
