WKU Men’s Basketball earned another transfer commitment Monday with former LSU junior forward Noah Boyde making the trip from the bayou to the Hill, according to On3 Transfer Portal Reporter Pete Nakos.
Boyde, a 7-foot big man from Monchy, St. Lucia, spent two seasons at McCook Community College in Nebraska, averaging 11.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. He led the National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX in rebounds during the 2022-23 season before transferring to LSU.
An ACL injury derailed his debut season with the Tigers. He played in five games during the 2024-25 season, scoring seven points total and averaging 2.2 minutes.
Boyde is coming into a forward room that saw both graduate Tyrone Marshall Jr. and senior Babacar Faye enter the transfer portal. Seniors Leeroy Odiahi and Blaise Kieta have not entered the transfer portal, however, both averaged under 15 minutes a game.
