Bowling Green Municipal Utilities responded to a water main break this morning on Regents Avenue.
On-site personnel arrived around 9:30 a.m. just outside the WKU Health Services building, BGMU Water Crew Superintendent Matt Baker said. At least nine workers were involved in efforts to repair the break.

Crews repaired the pipe and the hole was covered by 11:30 a.m. On-site personnel cleaned up the debris and salted the street. Workers left shortly after 1 p.m.Â
Baker said the amount of time the job took is standard for similar projects.
